Quartz piezoelectric force and strain sensors are highly reliable, and they have outstanding dynamic force and strain measurement characteristics. Typical measurements include dynamic and quasi-static forces during driving, compression, impact, impulse, reaction force and tension.
Since the measurement signal generated by the quartz sensor will decay over time, long-term static force measurement is not feasible. However, short-term or quasi-static measurements are advisable within a certain time limit, depending on the sensor and signal offset meter used..
